Cornerstone Community Church

HISTORY

Cornerstone Community Church began when a small group of people decided there was a need in this area for a congregation that was conservative in theology and open in practice. Our founder was Pastor Leon Sanders.The group began meeting in a neighborhood clubhouse in 1987.
 From that small group grew a church dedicated to meeting peoples needs spiritually and emotionally. The church incorporated with the state of Texas as a non profit, religious organization in the fall of 1987.
We have seen many changes and much growth during the past 23 years. As with any family, we have had occasions of grief as well as joy.
Our doctrinal statement can be found in the foyer of our building. Any questions you might have about our teachings or practices can be answered by calling our pastor, Pastor David Mays, and setting a time to meet.
